- The maintenance will be from 6am on Saturday, Nov. 13 to 3pm on Sunday, Nov. 14.
*Shibboleth will be unavailable from 6am – 12noon on Saturday, Nov. 13.
**MyVT will be unavailable from 6am – 12noon on Nov 13 and will only have some of its functionality affected during the duration of the maintenance.
In addition to the Oracle upgrade new release of banner, SQR, and COBOL will be applied to the banner and vtfbanner databases. No changes to clients should be necessary.
- Forms replacement (Oracle forms will expire in June 2011) to Web Logic product; both will function for testing after this upgrade with long term eventual switchover, likely in Spring time frame.
- Facilities: Data Center work will continue and breakthrough of wall will likely happen this week. May be more intense than at first expected. Also in planning is a roof replacement over the first floor of the AISB which will cover the Data Center section as well. Target date to complete is by end of December.
- LT: Monthly code updates on Sakai will begin again this Saturday (October 16th). Nothing operational, all minor. 5-8am on Saturday is the normal window and will continue until some disruption.
- CNS: MLX upgrades planned for over Thanksgiving Break; code upgrades mainly. 10Gb/s optics also may be installed during that break also. IPv6 renumbering will also commence now that new addresses have been purchased. Very little impact on users.
- Group Policy change for A.D. likely to take place on October 24th. (Group formerly known as MIG) Should only impact users utilizing relatively old versions of items.
