Meeting Notes

• Kim Homer reviewed usability tests being conducted by Test And Deployment (TAD)
  
  TAD is using Balsamiq for mockup of a low-fidelity prototype for testing. Initial testing is concentrating on how preferences are collected. So far the work flow has been determined and testers are happy with it. More testing is coming. Kevin Rooney will open a JIRA request and TAD will report their findings there. Information from JIRA will be summarized and posted to the project wiki.
  • OpenID work flow using Facebook: User chose this method of authentication but when prompted for Facebook credentials they did not want to enter them fearing that the university would then have her Facebook information.
  • VT Alerts data: does not buy us very much and is not worth the effort it may require to get permission to use this data.
  • We are not certain what to do about Alumni that have VT Google e-mail address that ends in vt.edu
