I want to thank you again for your assistance in the initial stages of using Personal Digital Certificates with your leave reports. There has been much learned as we have proceeded and I appreciate your patience when we encounter the inevitable problems in doing something new. I encourage you to continue to report your concerns and get the assistance you need by reporting issues to 4Help (www.4Help.vt.eduor 540-231-4357). We will continue to learn from our experiences before including the entire university community in PDC usage.

Some of the improvements that have been made to the process as a result of your feedback include a more automated software installation and configuration process and review of some of the terms and conditions. The Student Telecommunications Office supports PDC password resets and issues new certificates during scheduled hours http://www.pki.vt.edu/pdc/schedule.html. If you have scheduling difficulties, please work through your manager and the StuTel office for a solution. Full office hours will be in place for the university-wide implementation.
