  1. Audit update?


    Mary Dunker is sending IA documentation regarding cost justification for the project, PMA meeting minutes, and perhaps biweekly project leader status update minutes. Since E&G funds rather than research money was used the project is being examined closely. No new date for the interim report was given.

  2. Status of PDC documentation
    A) Installers & instructions Installer Instructions

    E-mail from Frank dated 4-25-2007:
    The following updates, which we discussed at our meeting yesterday, have been published to the development PKI website
    1. Update to the announcement on the home page regarding Vista support.
    2. Update to the matrix on the home page to delete reference to IE5.x.
    3. Update to the matrix on the home page to delete reference to Netscape 4.x.
    4. Matrix links updated to reference new instructions for Windows and Mac platforms.
    5. Matrix column header for Mac OS 10.3/4 updated to be (Non-Intel, PowerPC).
    I also updated the new instructions which Kim provided to reference the files to be downloaded from the IT website using a uniform naming convention as follows:
    **VT eToken PDC Setup v2.33 for Windows.exe and
    **VT eToken PDC Setup v2.33 for PPC Macintosh.dmg


    Greg Kroll proposed:
    * New "announcement" text for the home page:
    "Windows Vista users must digitally sign their online leave report from a non-Vista computer. We are testing a Vista upgrade to the Aladdin eToken software."
    * Reference to links in matrix:
    Since it is not obvious that the green check marks in the matrix are hyper links any reference to them should say something like "...click the appropriate check mark...".
    * Highlight every occurrence of download filenames:
    Where ever the long filenames like "VT eToken PDC Setup v2.33 for Windows.exe" occur they should be set off from surrounding text by making the name bold.

    Greg Kroll will forward the new installer instructions for Netscape to Frank Galligan to put on the development web server.

    B) KB accounts for Greg & Mary?
  3. Form for "vouching" for someones identity.

    From 3.1.9 of User CA CPS:
    "Note: If the subscriber does not have a second form of photo
    identification, the subscriber's department head or academic
    advisor must accompany the subscriber to the RAA and sign a
    document stating that he/she verifies the identity of the
    subscriber. This paper will be retained by IRM."

    A) StuTel has pointed out that this "document" that a dept. head is supposed to sign, does not exist. Ideas? Draft?


    We determined that StuTel needs access to the IRM database of signature cards to (1) determine who is a department head and (2) to compare signatures. Mary is to pursue access for StuTel.

    If a department head does not have a signature card on file then the answer is to get one.

    The last sentence of 3.1.9 of User CA CPS needs to be removed or include StuTel.

  4. Status of Susan & Kim's websites strategy? Strategy & Mock-up for PDC Related Web Pages


    Susan Brooker-Gross is to add some detail to the mock-up of proposed web pages. e.g., "New/replacement PDC page" to include examples of "eligibility", "schedule" and what to "bring".
