SETI:CAS deployment and Middleware deployments this morning for bug fixes. Both went without a hitch.

ITRA: Reminder that IT Risk Assessments are due by 09/01/13. Jean asked about the split web page in place during core and border.

SMT: IBM DCSS 9550 has been out for last two days. Both controllers were replaced and now file systems are being rebuilt; do not believe data has been lost, but are not yet sure.

August 20th, maintenance is scheduled. This involves only SGI equipment; firmware upgrade, GPFS update. Consultant from IBM will be onsite to assist.

EMC VNX providing surveillance camera data is showing a fault light; reboot has been recommended by vendor. One production DB (for Warehouse) is stored there so coordination with DBAA will be required.

TLOS: Starting tomorrow at 5am 'til 8am standard roll-up of code for Scholar. Bug fixes mainly. No other issues to be addressed until reorg is stabilize.

CNS: Point of interest, since the new core in place 22 hours sustained transfer at Gigabit speeds between Univ. of New Mexico and HPC equipment.

NI&S QA: Zabbix review from SS UAS; looks very promising. Zabbix is in use now by CNS Facilities and is being considered for improving the certification renewal process.

Winter term mentioned as a potential support issue to face this year that hasn't existed in the past. Some logistics will be needed related to enrollment and continuity between Fall and Spring.Term codes may need to be updated or reviewed as access could be curtailed during the Winter.
