Description: Maintenance will be conducted on AISB data center networks


Date: Thursday November 15th


Maintenance window: 5:00 am – 7:00 am


Expected outage: We expect the duration of the outage to last about 15 minutes.  However, due to the complexity of the maintenance, the entire window is reserved.


Details: This maintenance is required as part of a transition of network services to a new data center network architecture.  All data center networks listed below will have their IP and IPv6 router gateways moved to the new data center network.  


The following building will be impacted:

 Andrews Information Systems Building (AISB) Data Center (the general office area of AISB will not be impacted)

Data Center: Control panels on two generators must be replaced to be updated and will allow remote monitoring. Potential plan is for week after Thanksgiving or following week. 

CCS: MS patching weekend 5am-12noon this weekend. 

DBAA: Saturday @ 9pm into Sunday; TimeClock Plus upgrade plus all remote devices. Banner maintenance also occurring/updates every other month. Drop/Add starts on the 24th. 

KH points out that VTC uses TimeClock plus, and possibly should be included in this meeting. 

MH for NI&S Facilities: Switchroom generators and the one for RB XIV to be tested in December.
