This report shows mean ratings for each section, course, and course level taught by a particular instructor.
Responses are collected on a six-point scale, where 1 = strongly disagree and 6 = strongly agree. Higher ratings are better.
Security settings impact what you see! The report includes only those instructors who are associated with your personal access settings.
What information is provided on the default view?
Sections Taught tab
Default view shows mean ratings for each section taught by a given instructor. It is sorted by course title, course number, subject, department, term, and question within instructor. Use the GROUPING option (top of the report) to choose the instructor.
Instructor Responses is a count of students in the given section who responded to the question for the given instructor.
Instructor Response Rate is calculated by dividing the number of actual responses by the number of possible responses for the given instructor and section.
Instructor Mean is the average rating for the given instructor and section.
Courses Taught tab

Default view shows instructor and department means by course level. It is sorted by term and question within instructor. Use the GROUPING option (top of the report) to choose the instructor.
Instructor Responses is a count of students who responded to one or more of the standard questions for the given instructor at the given course level.
Instructor Response Rate is calculated by dividing the number of actual responses by the number of possible responses for the given instructor and course level.
Instructor Mean is the average rating for all courses taught by the given instructor at the given course level.
Department Section Count (Course Level) is a count of class sections offered in the department at the given course level.
Department Participants (Course Level) is a count of students who respond to one or more of the standard questions in the given department and course level.
Department Participation Rate (Course Level) is calculated by dividing the actual participants by the possible participants in the given department and course level.
Department Mean (Course Level) is the average rating for a department at the given course level.
