Meeting Notes
- Status updates
- The 2 Stonesoft's are connected. The first is for the secure network. The second collects edge stuff.
- Philip asked how to access these for future updates. The answer was through ASA's (???)
- VPN partition not finished yet.
- RLAN is not part of the data center network.
- There are 2 networks for this project. (1) The Management IP network, and (2) The RLAN user IP network.
- Action item: Need to cost user network connection.
- Use static IP or DHCP? Not decided yet. One solution is to give Marc a range of IP addresses for him to assign to virtual guests himself.
- The 2 Stonesoft's are connected. The first is for the secure network. The second collects edge stuff.
- There are 2 desktop solutions. See 20120625 - June 25, 2012 RLAN Project Briefing for Erv for details.
- Some departments have already purchased hardware in anticipation of this project. Randy visited HR today and they have replaced computers so they are leaning towards Randy's solution.
- For evaluation purposes it would be good to get the early adopters to use both solutions.
