Meeting Notes
- SMS contract with bulletin.net
- Wanda Dean, University Registrar, has requested language be added to the contract that the vendor delete student cell phone number if requested by the student.
- Kevin will check with Randy Swisher (of bulletin.net) to see if they even store the cell phone number, if not, there are no issues. If they do then the language will be added to the contract.
- OpenId issues and VT Legal
- Still waiting to hear from VT legal who mentioned that the registrar may have an issue with OpenId.
- We will force a login to OpenId provider every time to avoid the issue where a user is already logged into Google or Yahoo and a redirect would be instantaneous and un-noticeable.
- Account Manager discussion
- IPS is collecting feedback in order to address issues.
- Greg will schedule a meeting with the advertising/marketing team for Ken to demo Account Manager and discuss issues.
- Discussions of look, feel, functionality ensued.
- Daniel said that changing any account recovery option, including using the Finish button updates the date stored.
- Karen suggested that since we really do not want users to opt-out of calling 4Help perhaps this option could be put on a separate screen and a "more options" button/link placed on the main screen in order to get to it.
- IMS would like an administrative override so users that choose to can have the call 4Help option permanently removed from their option choices.
- This raised the question about how to turn it back on after it was turned off?
